explore what does and does not work in the
region. Specifically, participants will:
* Use anecdote circles to start to gather the
information.
* Conduct group work to identify themes and
characters and collectively come up with traits.
* Time permitting, develop archetypes.

• What are the factors that promote or inhibit
the adoption of effective knowledge
management practices in the Middle East?
• Is the Middle East context significantly
different to others for undertaking knowledge
management projects?
Workshop Approach
• This workshop will use interactive knowledge
management techniques to explore the issue
• These same techniques can be applied in your
workplace to address specific issues
– A mix of Cognitive Edge techniques, narrative
inquiry, strategic foresight applications and
sensemaking will be used
