2. Brief & Concept
The Gilda Club of Western Pennsylvania is a cancer support group that offers emotional, physical,
psychological support for patients and families. The Faces Campaign is a member run fundraising
campaign through various events, fundraisers, donations and programs for the Gilda Club of Western
Pennsylvania. In years past, there were 3 events that were the culmination of the Faces Campaign
events; The Gilda’s Great Comic Search, Laughing in the Face of Cancer & Radner Radio. These events
are run and organized by Aimee Arnold & Shannon Barry, and this year Venkat is helping them with
their Promotional Campaign and Pittsburgh Comedian Krish Mohan is helping them with booking
Comedians and organizing the events.
For the Finals, we decided for focus on the celebrity judges and hosts involved in the show and utilize
an old school variety show flyer aesthetic. This helped showcase all the contestants in the finals and
display the information in a clear, energetic and bold way. The event raised over $3000 for the Gilda
Club of Western PA
