The Challenge< >
Wishing to enhance client outreach and customer service while also improving access to information
and user-experience, Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia (PDS) desired a website that
could provide law resources for its various audiences including employees, law clerks, the general
public, and justice professionals among others. PDS required that any site built must be able to run on
the .Net framework in order to maintain responsibility of the site upon launch.
PDS selected Blue Water to carry out execution of this process after review of Blue Water’s award-
winning portfolio with brands that make a difference.

The Results< >
Public Defender Service of District of Columbia and Blue Water collaborated on a new site architecture
plan that provided cohesiveness and improved user experience among users and stakeholders.
Our design experts produced multiple screenshots and wireframes until PDS was completely satisfied
with the end result. This site is currently awaiting development before being utilized as a source of
critical information on the law profession and public defense for the many audiences in the DC area.
