10. Stomach 1
Cows swallow the grass without chewing it.
Stomach 2
In the second stomach the grass is made
into small balls called cud. When the cow
has enough cud she spews it back up to her
mouth and chews it for 1 minute.
11. Stomach 3
This stomach looks like a book with 100 pages.
The chewed cud is squashed between the
pages.
Stomach 4
The squashed cud gets changed into a
liquid. Some of the liquid goes into the
cows udder where it is made into milk. The
rest comes out when the cow goes toilet.
