1. Question 1 In what way does your product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products?
2. Similar positioning of the title. Q Magazine, One of the most popular music magazine around. As you can see, I have tried to make my front cover similar to the Q magazine. I wet for more of the ‘wild side’ of make-up. I may not have someone as stunning as Cheryl Cole, but the model gives off the impression of temptation as well as Cheryl.
3. They both have the same conventions, for example random pictures overlapping. Also I have chosen a white background with the strings of a guitar faded in the background. The differences of these two contents are they way I have set it out. Mine says ‘Page’ whereas for the Q magazine, there is just the number.
4. I tried making my double page spread similar to Q magazine. The differences between my double page and Q’s double page is that I have used more pictures and added colour, where as Q magazine is more black and white, the only colour used is on Lily Allen's top and there are also words that match her top.
5. Conclusion I conclude that my magazine has similar qualities to the Q magazine, but has new ideas and has made my magazine have more of a personal approach.
