Walmart Real Estate and Construction Legal
Legal Extern, August – December 2017
Examined easements, covenants, and restrictions to determine whether the construction of charging structures was
implicated by outstanding contractual terms. Researched and drafted memos assessing the need to conduct a CERCLA
phase I inspection on a recently purchased property. Worked with Public Relations on determining the risk of allowing
historical organizations to construct monuments on Walmart properties.

Researched legal issues and drafted memos addressing, proper contract termination, tractor trailer requirements
established by the California Air Resources Board, and drafted subpoena responses to employee information requests.

Assisted Legal Aid Staff Attorneys drafting last will and testaments in underserved Arkansas communities, recorded assets
and property to the probate estate. Up-dated Arkansas Constitution citations in an elementary and middle school
government text book. Provided corrections to amended provisions and omitted superseded citations in the text book.
