2. Introduction.
Project Fi is Google's program to provide fast
and easy cellular service directly to phones.
It actively switches between the networks
without any user intervention.
Project Fi also leans on Wi-Fi, and lets you
both call and text when connected to a Wi-Fi
network.

Project Fi automatically switches its users from a
cellular tower to a free Wi-Fi system with a signal
strong enough to stream video andmusic, another

This could mean a smartphone willshift to aWi-Fi
network downloading at 10 megabits, even if a

The International Mobile Subscriber Identity is used to identify
the user of a cellular network and is a unique identification
associated with all cellular networks. It is stored as a 64 bit field
and is sent by the phone to the network. It is also used for
acquiring other details of the mobile in the home location
register (HLR) or as locally copied in the visitor location register.
