 Large areas of Forest may be dominated
by a single species.
 The trees here are mostly softwood
evergreen trees with sharp and narrow
needle-like leaves.
 When it snows heavily, the conical leaves
allows the snow to glide down easily.
 The trees here are light and easy to cut.
 Therefore, lumbering is practiced on a
large scale in these forest.
