* You can ‘Promote’ a post directly in
Instagram or in Facebook Ads Manager.
* Your Facebook ad will automatically
appear on Instagram unless you de-select
it as an option.
* Conversion is more difficult on
Instagram, but not impossible. Branding
messages do very well.
30. BONUS TIPS
• The only hyperlink on Instagram is in your profile. Don’t add
bit.ly links in your description. Refer them to “link in bio”.
• Hashtags in comments don’t work / aren’t tracked if you’re not
the administrator on the page.
• Only use a Repost app if you want to repost a video. If it’s a
photo, screeenshot it, tag the brand in the photo and add “RP
@from account” as part of the comment.
• Use multiple photos feature to show interior & exterior shots
• Like, follow, comment – repeat.

• Follow @instagram for the latest updates.
• Follow other brands and people that you deem insta-
successful and mimic what they’re doing (bonus points if you
look outside of automotive).
