SIGNIFICANT ACCOMPLISHMENTS
-Worked closely with UCAR Sponsored Agreements,Contracts, and Budget and Finance to successfully close the
NASA-UCAR Cooperative Agreement (2003-2009 Contract #NCC5735). Activities and tasks included closing
multiple sub contracts,zeroing out accounts and transferring expenses.
-Organized the office moves of 25 staff members from one building to another in preparation for the remodeling.
Coordinated packing plan using a team approach, assigned office space,and participated in move coordinator team
meetings. Also participated in the design of the building remodel.
-Successfully assumed the responsibilities of The GLOBE Program Executive Administrator upon her departure
and was promoted to the Administrator II position. Currently serve as Administrative Team lead with supervisory
responsibility for all administrative personnel and related tasks.
-Successfully served as Project Manager for several GLOBE Annual Partner Meetings. Supervised team of
meeting planners and administrative assistants to successfully manage the budget, coordinate travel and
registrations and contracts for services related to hotel sleeping rooms and catering, transportation, program
printing, and trade show exhibits.
-Participated on The GLOBE Program Director Selection Advisory Group. Reviewed applicant materials, assigned
points based on a rigorous ranking system, reviewed written exercises and participated in selection of final
candidates. Worked with HR generalist to schedule interviews and coordinate travel.
-Effectively managed local travel and group arrangements for 500 students and teachers to participate in science
activities at various field study sites for the GLOBE Learning Expedition in Cape Town, South Africa.

Program Administrator II – The GLOBE Program
March 2010 to Present
Manage and supervise The GLOBE Program Administrative Team Assist managers with all hiring procedures
including position descriptions and posting jobs in OpenHire. Work directly with HR generalist to move hiring
process forward. Assist managers with ongoing HR procedures including performance reviews, reclassifications
and personnel profile change forms. Manage the annual budget for The GLOBE Program. Ensure that the program
is in compliance with all organization policies and procedures. Manage all NASA,NOAA,NSF contracts to ensure
that all terms and conditions are adhered to. Request re-programming or extensions as needed. Assist Principal
Investigators in the submission of grant proposals using Grants.gov and FastLane proposal submission systems.
Work with Human Studies Committee to complete Human Subjects Review on proposals if necessary. Submit the
following reports and budget requests to the UCP budget office: Anticipating Funding, Discretionary Budget,
Operating Budget and Indirect Cost Pool Rate Development. Oversee DPA activities and office space needs.
Serve as project manager for the Annual GLOBE Partner Meetings. Update website information as appropriate.

Prepared annual budget for management review. Ran monthly reports using UCAR Bi-Tech accounting system.
Tracked and moved expenses as necessary. Set up new accounts as necessary. Coordinated GLOBE annual
meetings and conferences. Arranged domestic and international travel for staff and visitors. Participated in
proposal submissions on NSF Fastlane. Assisted with human resource activities within the division. Coordinated
office space and moves. Promoted to Program Administrator II.
Administrative Assistant II – NCAR/MMM Program (Supervisor – Kathy Morgan)
May 2003 to April 2006
Provided executive-level support for the division director including calendar coordination, travel planning
(international and domestic), expense reporting, and correspondence. Assisted the division administrator and
budget analyst in proposal submissions. Coordinated human resource activities, and annual award nominations,
tracked scientist I start up fund budgets, planned management and advisory committee meetings, wrote and
distributed meeting minutes. Provided general administrative support to the division including planning division-
wide retreats, quarterly meetings, workshops and tutorials, and travel for incoming scientists and other visitors.
Participated in the Annual Budget Review (ABR) process and assisted as needed. Promoted to Program
Administrator I position at GLOBE.
