TEACHING PROJECTS
Quality Improvement, Rancho Springs Medical Center, Murrieta, Ca. 4/2014
I collaborated with two classmates to create a quality improvement project for Rancho Springs
Medical Center involving the benefits of purposeful hourly rounding. We completed an
annotated bibliography from our research and presented our findings to five groups of RNs.
Hand Hygiene Education, Elementary School, Victorville, Ca. 11/2013
I volunteered to independently organize a presentation of the importance and method of hand
hygiene for a group of preschool aged children and their parents. I then presented the information
with a classmate at the preschool.
Educational Booth, Karla Adams Health Fair, Riverside, Ca. 10/2013
I volunteered to organize and run an educational booth at this health fair with the purpose of
educating children about nutrition and sugar intake. I independently researched this topic and
created the design and then coordinated volunteers to help run the booth.
