1. This image is of Chipmunk. I quite like it and
think it could work well in my magazine.
However, I don’t think Chipmunk is really
classed as being in the genre of pop as he is
more RnB I would say. I don’t think I would use
this as a main contents image but could
possibly include it either in my contents
somewhere or on my front cover, I am having a
little bit with free posters on so could consider
using it on there.

2. These images are of Jason
Derulo. I would class him
as being in the pop genre
so these images could fit
well. The one on the right
could help to attract my
target audience of teenage
girls more as flesh is being
shown. It may help to
attract teenage girls to my
magazine so I could
consider maybe including it
on the free posters bit on
the front page of my
magazine.

3. These images are of
Olly Murs. I quite like
all these images,
especially the one on
the left. I like how you
can easily tell that he
is looking out and
singing. I think that
Olly is a big part of
pop, and if I were to
buy a pop magazine I
would expect to find
him in their
somewhere. I may
use the one on the left
as my main image for
my contents page. I
think it could work
quite well and the
colour of his clothing
also suits my colour
scheme of blues,
pink, white and black.

4. This image is of Tinchy Stryder.
Again because flesh is being
shown in this image, it is a good
way in making my magazine
appeal more to my target
audience of teenage girls.
However, Tinchy isn’t really
classed as being in the genre of
pop, so if I were to use this
image it’ll probably be in the
‘free posters’ section

5. This image is of Tom from The
Wanted. The Wanted are based
in the genre of pop so this
would fit well. I really like this
image and would say this one
and the one of Olly Murs are my
favourites. The clothing he is
wearing is blue so again this
would fit well with my colour
scheme. I think I’m going to
have to experiment and see
which one looks best as the
main image in my contents out
of this one and Olly Murs.
