3. 1. Commander’s intent
 The purpose of providing the JFC’s Intent is to give general D&G
on all lines of operation to the subordinate commands for the
timeframe covered by the JCO. The COM JFC’s intent may also
include methods of accomplishing the mission, risk and end
state.

for the JF to achieve in the timeframe the JCO is supposed to cover.

Those key actions that must be fulfilled by the JF in order to achieve the specific objectives set in para 2 of the JCO.
E.G: information operation priorities (JCO narrative, target audiences, effects to be achieved, key messages), airborne OPS, amphibious
operation, joint exercise, combined OPS with local forces, etc.

Requirements (CNR) matrix has been added. This matrix lists
key events that are to be reported immediately through the
Chain of Command in the same way as for a CCIRs.
