Most individuals have progressed to where they are because of a teacher, someone who has given them instruction, insight, and skills. Believing this statement, I also recognize that our future lies in the hands of our children. They need to be prepared for the obstacles they may face and to be empowered to self-advocate. My teaching will make a difference in young lives because I will provide them with the tools to make informed decisions as they grow into young adults.
