Working as a Branch Manager for one of the largest Wholesale & Retail Distribution Companies in the
world, I was responsible for the overall planning, direction, & guidance of the Sales and Operational
activities of the location(s). Managed Key Business and Financial Expectations. Drove world-class

Responsible for the administration, and efficient daily operations of the branch(s). Main duties included:
• Complete P&L responsibility including planning & execution of a yearly budget that ranged from 8
million-14 million in annual sales

Managed all logistics for material purchases from independent and national suppliers. Managed vendor
relations, ordering processes, freight scheduling, returns, inventory control, and back orders for a network of
2 distribution centers which served approximately 28 home builders and 35 construction developments.
Managed a combined 80-member team of customer service representatives & installers along with a truck
fleet of approximately 33 trucks while maintaining annual sales of $12M-15M.

Managed the operations of A-1 Building Components including the efficient & timely distribution of
manufactured products to well over 80 customers and approximately 100 developments. Managed a team of
direct reports compromising of 4 department managers, 2 supervisors, and approximately 15 drivers along
with 16 tractor trailers.
N.I. LOGISTICS AMERICAN CORPORATION 2000 – 2003
Operations Manager USA
Managed complete operational start-up of newly formed organization to support the Logistical needs of our
our parent company Nissho Iwaai Corporation. Developed distribution & operation centers in New York,
Los Angeles, Chicago, Portland, and Texas. with main offices located in New York, Los Angeles, and
Portland. Coordinated and established cooperative objectives, plans, and operational procedures within the
company to support the logistical needs of our parent company. Developed operating procedures, introduced
strategic plans, financial controls, information technologies, and sales/marketing initiatives. Developed
Domestic & International partnerships, which broadened services in areas such as: Supply Chain
Management, Warehousing, and Distribution.. Negotiated company freight contracts with Major Airlines,

Sales Implementation Manager 1999 – 2000
Coordinated and developed Standard Operating and Customer Service procedures for the NY/NJ Metro Sales
team and the Corporate Sales team. Worked closely with all operations groups, sales people, and numerous
stations to ensure customer requirements were met. Responsible for building customer relationships, and
source new projects and programs within the existing business. Appointed “Single Point of Contact” for
major companies such as: Intel, Hewlett Packard, Philips Electronics, and Iomega. Director for department’s
ISO 9002 certification.
Import Breakbulk Manager 1997 – 1999
Directed the logistics support activities for both warehouse and inside clerical staff consisting of 85
union employees & approximately 35 trucks. Responsible for departments specialized services such
as Express Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Warehousing, Distribution, and Import Customs
entries. Major accounts included: Intel, Hewlett Packard, Philips Electronics, and The Home
Shopping Network.
Other areas of responsibility: The daily operations of the department including maintaining the budget,
assuring efficient work flow, timely recovery and distribution of freight and monitoring daily performance of

Managed all loading & unloading operations of freight onto/from Boeing 747 Cargo Aircraft. Supervised a
team of 8 along with aircraft loading equipment to perform all loading & unloading of cargo. Performed all
mathematical calculations and filed necessary Federal (FAA) documentation required for all cargo flights.
Import Manager: 1992-1994
Provided direction & supervision to approximately 18 regarding the timely processing & distribution of Air
Import Shipments arriving via cargo & passenger aircraft. This included the breakdown of airline pallets,
documentation processing, and US Customs clearance within a US Bonded facility.
