3. WORK EXPERIENCE
Stork Technical Services June 2014 – Present
Employed as Senior Inspection Engineer (S.I.E.) in charge of 3 offshore Platforms operated by BG UKU
Asset Group. Duties include control of Asset Integrity / Inspection teams on each Platform providing
pressure systems, structural, pipeline and corrosion support. Working in support of the Asset Managers
and Operations team and in conjunction with the Engineering Assurance group. Review and endorsement
of Inspection Queries (IQ’s) prior to submitting to Asset Technical Authorities. Onshore support to
Flotel / Shutdown Campaigns, involved in compiling workpacks for Campaign activities. Competent
Maximo 7.1 user with Supervisor access to Approve / SUPCOMP work orders.
Duties as Relief Inspection Manager to cover his absence include knowledge of CTR, P&L, Pathway,
Forecasting, Monthly report data compilation.
SBM Offshore October 2013 – March 2014:
Contracted as Project QC Lead, involved in Conversion / Construction process of Tanker to FPSO for
Gulf of Mexico Shell Stones Project. Duties included liaising with ABV / USCG (United States Coast
Guard) as Certifying Authority & 3rd
Party Inspection Companies. To monitor and witness fit ups as per
daily RFI (Request For Inspection) registers, Contractor Welding and NDT, Testing, Piping, and
Mechanical Installations. To ensure that all Piping / Mechanical activities meet relevant standards,
through daily audits/verification and action any discrepancies found. To raise and action NCR’s / CAR’s
as deemed necessary during the Project. To create Surveillance plans to be actioned throughout the
Project. To support the Projects HSEQ Plan and Procedures and to ensure compliance to same by
Construction Contractor. To ensure that the all works are carried out as per relevant Project Drawings and
Specifications, and to the Relevant Engineering Codes and Standards. To ensure that the Contractor
complies with all QA/QC Procedures. To provide progress input to the Project Schedule.

4. Lloyds Register EMEA, Integrity Services June 2007 – May 2011:
Contracted to Lloyds Register EMEA, Integrity Services as Offshore Integrity Engineer (OIE) on Maersk
North Sea Producer FPSO and then onto Maersk Curlew FPSO. Responsible for Supervision,
Organisation and Execution of Core Topsides Inspection and Corrosion Activities, as per RBI
requirements and to Supervise WBT / COT Inspections as per Conditions of Class Requirements and
other 3rd
Party work-packs, in order to ensure and maintain overall integrity of the asset. Involved as part
of the Asset Offshore Management Team reporting to the OIM & Superintendents. Responsible for
maintaining the Temporary Repairs Register and Anomaly Management System. Additional duties
included organisation of activities in such a way that continuous emphasis is placed on cost effectiveness
whilst ensuring asset integrity is maintained with minimum disruption to the asset processes.
June – August 2009. Involved with FPSO disconnect and tow to Hamburg for dry dock overhaul. In
charge of Inspection teams carrying out various inspection methods, liaised with Client Representatives
and with local Management teams in order to achieve optimum efficiency in completing workscopes
within schedule – this included 120 vessels inspected, as planned, including 15 internal inspections of
major vessels. 5 yearly crane inspections and a variety of ad-hoc inspections.
RBG Marine Services January – June 2007:
Contracted worldwide as Senior Inspector, involved in various SPS Inspection Programmes carried out on
semi-submersibles.
Contracted worldwide as Senior Topside Inspector involved with various Diving and Sub Sea hyperbaric
welding projects. Duties included liaising with Client and Diver Inspectors, third party Auto U.T.
Inspectors and Client Welding Inspectors. Responsible for successful implementation of the Hyperbaric
Inspection Programme, collation of all Manual Inspection Reports & ensuring all Inspection activities are
completed in compliance with client’s Quality Assurance Policy regarding Asset Integrity.
Oceaneering November / December 2006;
Contracted to Oceaneering as NDT Co-Ordinator on BP Magnus Platform. Responsible for the offshore
co-ordination of a 3 man Rope Access Team, 3 man NDT Team and 2 Radiographers. Duties involved
were to co-ordinate all Inspection activities on Critical Safety Pipework, to liaise with Snr. Inspection
Engineer on a daily basis and to maintain both hard copies and electronic tracking of progress through
various Work packs.
5. Core Technical Services March 2004 to October 2006;
Contracted worldwide with Coretech as Senior Inspector, involved in various SPS Inspection
Programmes carried out on semi-submersibles.

and ensuring NDT Procedures were in place. Liaising with Client and ensuring Health & Safety Policies
are in order. Verification of documented objective evidence for equipment and fabricated items to ensure
compliance with project quality requirements and statutory legislation. Review of completed fabrication
packages. Compiling, and monitoring clearance of, approved punch lists. Preparation of pre and full
mechanical packages for handover.
N.E. Group Jan 2002 to March 2004;
Staff position with N.E. Group (formerly N.E.C.E), as Snr. Inspection Team Leader involved in
ChevronTexaco Captain Field Project. Responsible for successful implementation of Medium Term
Inspection Schemes, reporting directly to the Client (WGE). Tasks include the completion of Risk
Assessments, preparing work scopes, the upkeep of Anomaly Databases, scheduling of Inspection
activities, supervision of Inspection Personnel, assisting in the logistics of offshore manpower &
equipment movements & ensuring all Inspection activities are completed in compliance with client’s
Quality Policy regarding Asset Integrity. Nominated by WGE as Inspection Co-ordinator during summer
shutdown 2003, attending pre- shutdown meetings and involved in post wash-up discussion.
OIS Plc May 1989 to Jan 2002;
Staff position with OIS Plc, as NDT Inspector. Tasks ranged from plant inspection at TotalFinaElf, St
Fergus Gas Terminal to Various NDT related inspection methods covering a vast extent of different oil
companies and their assets within the North Sea. Liaising with clients on matters relating to work
