Geometric
Zebra
I created this acrylic painting during my summer job at
mural arts. I wanted the background to resemble an action
painting. The black objects within the foreground are an
abstraction of my previous motif through a block print. I
wanted it to have a rustic organic feel.

Sacred
Scarf
This scarf was a final project for my course in textiles. We had to
combine at least two of the following skills: sewing, Block or screen
printing, and dying. Only selected students were able to screen print at
the nearby Fabric Workshop and Museum (F.W.M.). I drew the motif
by hand, then created a repeat pattern within Adobe Illustrator, several
students, and I then traveled to F.W.M. to expose and print said patterns.
All of the colorful fabric was recycled from an upholstery catalog.

Kimono
The Gown and accessories were created and
designed by me. The hat was a requirement;
it was created by an underclassman. The
kimono is 40 inches long. It’s made from
polyester, and the balls are made of various
yarn.

#CARDS
Christmas
I was able to create a business through a program known as
Artupreneurs. This was a marketplace where my team and I set
up an interactive display. Once a card is purchased we allow
the customer to draw an ornament of his or hers choice. We
designed the cards on photoshop, and we stamp our emblem
onto the backs with our signature.
