1000 plus hours of clinical experience
Worked with the following athletic teams: College Football, High School Football, Women’s Basketball, Men’s
Basketball, Baseball, Softball, Gymnastics, and Women’s Volleyball.
The purposes of our clinical rotations are to help us students with prevention, intervention, and rehabilitation.
These clinical rotations have given be the ability to obtain patient histories, clinically evaluating injuries and
illnesses, as well as helping assist upper- levelathletic training students perform rehabilitation modalities and
exercises.
Football Rotation 2014
As a professional ATS for the football team in the fall of 2014,I was part of the team that helped assess a spinal
injury that occurred as a result of a blow to the backduring a game. When assessing the injury and ruling out all
possibilities, we proceeded tospine board the athlete and send him to the hospital.
Conducted a rehabilitation program from start to finish with a Post –operative Anterior Cruciate Ligament
AVERA Hospital Rotation | Fall 2014
During this rotation we are able to observe a daily routine of a doctor and how he or she goes about assessing
and caring for his or her patients.
Saw multiple corticosteroid shots given throughout this rotation for various injuries.

Sanford Hospital Volunteer/Internship | May 2015- July 2015
Helped work in one of the only State of the Art wheel chair assessable weight rooms in the State of South Dakota
Helped the disabled be able to perform lifts to help benefit their well being (Down Syndrome, CerebralPalsy)
Volunteer Medical MissionTrip | June 2015
The purpose of this medical trip was to perform house visits, community health surveys, village triage, and to
assist in free medical clinics in small communities of Nicaragua. As a student representing Ohio University, I was
able to assess 25-30 patients a day head totoe, prescribe medications for their diagnosis, and help Nicaraguans
learn about the American medicine.
DWU Service Day | 2013- Present
Every year DWU hosts a Service Day, where all the students go out and perform various jobs within the
community of Mitchell such as picking up trash along the lake, painting,moving various things, etc. This is a way
for us students to give back to the community for all that they do for Dakota Wesleyan.

Blood PressureChecks | 2014- Present
The DWU athletic training club is big on making sure our community is aware of their health. We set up tables
and have free blood pressure checks, either outside of Cabelas,Basketball games, or on campus. It is another
way to give backto the community, by showing them that their health matters.
Share What you Wear Service Project | December 2012
DWU Softball team reached out to the community and collected all different kinds of clothes for the less
fortunate. We set up multiple tables full of clothes and other house items that we opened up one Saturday
morning for all those who needed help tocome and get multiple bags fullof clothes for their families.
Angel Tree Shopping | December 2013- Present
Since December 2013,I have been participating in helping the Salvation Army goshopping for over 500 children
and gather gifts, clothes, etc.. so that they could have something to open for Christmas.
Holiday SpiritCoop | December 2007-Present
Non-profit organization that helps around the Holidays to provide gifts for the less fortunate.
Collect various donations from local business in Columbus NE.
