EMV! What’s best, Chips or Strips!
We often see headlines about customer credit/debit card data being stolen, accessed, duplicated, and
fraudulently accessed. The USA is one of the few countries in the world where businesses still use
magnetic strips on the back of credit and debit cards when accepting payment. According to
Visa/MasterCard/Discover/American Express, as of October 1, 2015 that all has changed.
CHIP & PIN, EMV, Contactless, ApplePay, NFC, and RFID all relate to better security for businesses and
their customers in regards to electronic payments. Ken Givens with U.S. Merchant Payment Solutions will
provide insight on this technology that will affect EVERY business in Waco and the U.S., as it already has
for 80% of the world’s merchants. Join us on __________ to learn more about what you and your clients,
