2. The concept of apprenticeships
has been tried and tested
for 800 years.
Sorcerers had them, knights had them and now
ICT & Digital professionals are working with them too!
WHAT IS A WYRE ACADEMY APPRENTICESHIP?
The Wyre Academy apprenticeships are high quality, Tech Industry Gold approved, structured work-based
learning programmes designed around the needs of employers. They combine genuine employment and
mentoring with training and assessment from academy experts.
TDM’s Tech Industry Gold apprenticeships programmes include nationally recognised City & Guild apprenticeship
qualifications and are accredited by Tech Partnership employers for their quality, focus on productivity and the level
of support businesses receive.
KEY BENEFITS
The Wyre Academy are measured and funded on
successful qualification outcomes. We therefore
actively help employers in the recruitment process
by assessment screening and filtering out only
enthusiastic, passionate and highly skilled potential
apprentices for them to interview.
Apprentices can progress from Intermediate (school-
leaver) through Advanced (college-leaver) and up to
Higher Apprenticeship (foundation degree) Levels.
This talent development process provides a real
alternative to the public education system and
allows employers to build the workforce skills their
organisation really needs.
Apprentices will develop the skills relevant to the
current market in the industry they are working for,
becoming a real asset to the company that employs
them.
Apprentices develop an excellent organisational fit
and genuine understanding of your business.
Employers gain improved staff retention through
“growing your own talent” approach.
Apprenticeships are a low risk and cost effective
investment that develops talent for your business
from your local area.
