Provide academic advising and coaching to special student populations, including adult students and students returning from academic suspension. Responsible for monitoring student retention software used by faculty to generate early alerts for students who are at-risk of failure. Follow up on retention cases created by faculty and provide support for at-risk students. Regularly meet with faculty to train and answer questions regarding early alert software. Conduct presentations to current and perspective students on the subject of college success and academic skills. Develop curriculum and teach a college orientation class for adult students.
