• Overseeing the 250 person Litigation Group’s three year transformation efforts, including
development of new processes and initiatives designed to achieve transformation objectives.
• Lead communication efforts to keep employees and key stakeholders apprised of progress in
our efforts.
• Developed key process indicators to highlight areas of success and identify areas of
opportunity. And, briefed senior leaders, including USAA’s Chief Legal Officer, on a regular
basis to advise of our progress.
• Serving as executive sponsor for projects and process improvements designed to facilitate
success of our transformation efforts- for example, lead department-wide effort to
implement new outside counsel billing guidelines and invoice review process.

• Remotely managed a team of more than 40 directors and litigation managers, handling
more than 10,000 new lawsuits each year with positive results- reduced average cost per
case annually and maintained high member and employee satisfaction scores.
