1. Florida’s student-run, Asian American interest publication
To whom it may concern,
Kevin Huynh is one the best workers I’ve ever had the privilege of working with. I cut to the
chase, because that’s what it’s like to work with him.
As the art director for Sparks, Kevin completed all the necessary arrangements for styling our
photoshoots. He had a keen sense of not only knowing what had to be done, but also
knowing how to do it.
This means he researched trends, communicated with his team and negotiated with fashion
designers, retailers and beauticians. He handpicked outfits, models and locations, and
executed each shoot by posing models. Most importantly, he did it all without having to be
told.
Aside from being a self-starter and brilliant at what he does, Kevin is also hard-working,
creative and fiercely passionate.
If you can’t tell, I firmly believe in Kevin and the quality of his work. The work that he did for
Sparks elevated our magazine to a standard higher than I could’ve ever dreamed, and I believe
that much of our accolades this year were, in large part, due to the work he contributed.
Though I’m sad to see him go, I would never resist an opportunity to speak of his
achievements.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.
