Ergotec 4010 EOD Suit
Description
The Ergotec 4010 EOD suit offers maximum protection with
minimal hindrance to operator movement allowing the
operator the freedom required to gather forensic intelligence.
The Ergotec Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) system
provides the wearer with very high levels of protection
against blast, low speed impact, fragment penetration and
flame immersion whilst carrying out search, detection and
disposal of explosive ordnance devices.
The textiles consist of two essential components, an outer
shell covering an inner fragmentation protection garment.
The outer layer of the garment is made from a meta Aramid
that provides the wearer with the first line of defence against
the tearing effects of dynamic blast, flash and flame. It’s
fabric qualities have water repellent and inherent anti-static
properties and may be washed and dried easily. This outer
cover protects the inner garment from soiling and physical
damage in use.
The Ergotec EOD System consists of:
Ballistic layer: Trousers and Jacket.
Outer layer: Trousers and Jacket. Attached to
armour layer for convenience of
donning.
Frontal Plate: Flexible plate assembly including
blast decoupler c/w bag.
Helmet : Full face helmet, including heated
visor.
Ventilation system: Comprising fans, battery boxes,
control systems and ventilation pad.
Carry Bag: To carry complete system.

variety of colours. All of which come with standard Black
trims.

Optional Accessories
Forced air ventilation system and incorporated spine
protection unit
For use in hot climates the Ergotec Jacket has a back pocket
permitting an optional cooler to be fitted. This circulates cool
dry air around the torso and upper legs enhancing user
comfort. A phase change cooling system is also available.
Communication systems can be used with the Ergotec
4010 suit both wired and radio
