Lead Project Engineer (Design & Construction Project Manager)
SAUDI ARAMCO, Cross Country Pipeline Projects/Pipeline Projects Department, Dammam, Saudi Arabia
 Managed the visibility study, detail design, materials procurement and construction contract procurement for NGL
pipeline. Completedthe installation of 12 km X6” Fuel Gas Pipeline (NGL)along with allscraper traps, valve stationand
all communication and electrical work related to this pipeline projects. Completed the HAZOP study for the safety
procedure in handling these project safety requirements .
 Completed the installation of 100 km X 30” Ethane Gas pipeline from JuaiymahGas Plant to the Royal Commissionin
Jubail on schedule and under budget.
 Managed the successful completion of the 8 km X 8” Liquid propane (Refinery Processed NGL) pipeline from Ras
TanurahRefineryto JuaiymahGas Plant within the citylimits and urbanpopulated areas. Completedthe installation of
Shipper pumps for propane pipeline inside RTR refinery with associated piping, instrumentation and controls with a
budget of $100MM.
 Completed the conversion of AY-1($500MM in value) from (NGL) Pipeline to Crude Oil. This NGL pipeline is 1000 km
with 10 pump stations alongthe route. Completed the upgrade of all nine-pumpstation andassociatedscraper traps.
Completed the commissioning and testing for 42” crude pipeline on budget and ahead of schedule.
1998 – 2003
Project Engineer (Design & Construction)
Saudi ARAMCO, Upstream Project Division, Abqaiq, Saudi Arabia
• Co-ordinated the completion of installation of all wellhead piping, flow lines, trunk lines for several hundred oil
and water wells at Haradh GOSP-2 area.
• Managedandsupervised several In-Kingdom construction contractors for the installation of pipelines.
• Prepared change orders commissioning of new facilities.
• Facilitated installation of flow lines & trunk lines at Ain Dar, Abqaiq and Shedgum areas.
• Prepared cost estimates and ensured availability and procurement of necessary staff and materials.
• Managed several construction contractors while controlling costs and schedule
• Prepared all the design packages for these wells
1995 – 1998
Project Engineer (Design & Construction)
Saudi ARAMCO, Abqaiq Plants Projects, Abqaiq, Saudi Arabia
 Worked with the design consultant in the preparation of the design package for the installation of five (5) Air
Compressors in Abqaiq Plant.
 The Air compressors capacityconsisted of7500 CM/mint for each. Completedthe installationof four (4) motor driven
and one-turbine compressors.
 The design of these air compressors includedthe installationof coolingtowers, which consistedof centrifugal pumps,
heat exchangers, and all piping associated with it to cool the air compressors.
 Prepared the entire contract document and awarded the contract, the value of this project was $ 40MM.
 The purpose of these compressors is to supply utility air for all the instrumentation in this plant
1990 – 1995
Project Engineer (Design)
Saudi ARAMCO, Design Services Division, Abqaiq, Saudi Arabia
 Worked in the designservices division for five (5) years. Preparing in house design packages for our client (operation)
 Main task is do the required engineering work, such as hot-tap calculations as requested by our client
 Our design packages included all CAD drawings, materials allocation within the company stock or DC requisitions
preparation, scope of work and constructability study.
 All workrelatedto the design package waspreparedinhouse, from mechanical, electrical andcivil workandpresented
to the client in 30%, 60% and finally 90% design reviews.
