2. {كُلُّ نَفْسٍ ذَآئِقَةُ الْمَوْتِ وَإِنَّمَا تُوَفَّوْنَ أُجُورَكُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فَمَن زُحْزِحَ عَنِ النَّارِ وَأُدْخِلَ الْجَنَّةَ فَقَدْ فَازَ وَما الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا إِلاَّ مَتَاعُ الْغُرُورِ} 3:185 Every human being is bound to taste death: but only on the Day of Resurrection will you be requited in full [for whatever you have done] whereupon he that shall be drawn away from the fire and brought into paradise will indeed have gained a triumph: for the life of this world is nothing but an enjoyment of self-delusion. 3. Death is natural to human. As a Muslim, we should make preparations to face the inevitable death. {قُلْ إِنَّ الْمَوْتَ الَّذِي تَفِرُّونَ مِنْهُ فَإِنَّهُ مُلَاقِيكُمْ ثُمَّ تُرَدُّونَ إِلَى عَالِمِ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ فَيُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ} 62:8 Say: "Behold, the death from which you are fleeing is bound to overtake you - and then you will be brought back unto Him who knows all that is beyond the reach of a created being's perception as well as all that can be witnessed by a creature's senses or mind, whereupon He will make you truly understand all that you were doing [in life]. 4. Often we witness the death of our relatives, friends and neighbors. Remembrance of death is not only by attending funerals but also to encourage ourselves to think of death, which is for our own benefits. 5. We will always mind our attitudes. We make preparation for death in a peaceful manner. Our heart will always remember Allah Increase our good deeds (ibadah) towards Allah. 6. Remembrance of death is not a stumbling block to acquire harmony life in this world. Balance in life between worldly matter and hereafter is the only way to gain blessing in this world and hereafter. “Work hard for worldly life as you exist long in this world and work hard for hereafter as you die tomorrow”(Jami’ Sogheer).
