2. Skills In elementary school, I learned how to read, write and do math. These skills help me to understand
what I have learned and made me successful in middle school and high school.
I am an accomplished photographer and have a large portfolio of photographs.
I have studied the sport of football for many years. I am knowledgeable about the players in the
NFL and their skills. When it comes time for the draft, I keep up the upcoming prospects. I also know
where these new players should go to fill a particular need. During football games, I often provide
commentary regarding the game, the coaching and its players. I have a blog that I update
periodically.
I believe that I am a nice person. I make an effort to get along with everyone and am a
compassionate person. I try to imagine how others are feeling.
I am particularly skilled at choosing good friends. I still have the same friends from kindergarten and
have only added more friends along the way. I have many friends who share the same interests as
me and have friends that like me for who I am. This year I had to transition from going to school in
Pleasanton to starting school in Livermore. I joined the football team over the summer to make
some friends before the school year began. Since school has begun, I have made new friends in all
of my classes.
I am also an active member in my family. I spend a lot of time with my grandparents, aunts, uncles
and cousins. I am very fortunate to have a family that loves and supports me. My family believes in
getting a good education and giving me opportunities to succeed. They encourage me to go
after my interests. My family also provides lots of opportunities to travel. I have been to Hawaii 6
times and have traveled up and down California, Oregon, Washington and Arizona.
I am part of an active family. We like to hike, camp, wakeboard, snow ski and play Frisbee golf. I
am also part of the Livermore High School track team. I believe in being healthy. I eat healthy
dinners and only drink water and milk. I will have soda when we go out to eat.
It’s not how long you live that matters. It is the way that you live your life that matters.
