OBJECTIVE
To fulfil my dream of working in a place where I will be able to use the tools I have learned in life and in
college. My desire is to expand my horizon in working among my Alaska Native people.
EXPERIENCE
I have worked extensively with autistic children and adults and have educated my own special needs child.
I have helped people who have lived with mental disorders and because of this immersion into the mind of
autism; I am equipped to deal with any situation and have worked in unpleasant circumstances within this
spectrum. I have 25 years experience in the field of autism
Because of my extensive experience working with mental disorders, I am pursing a degree in psychology

Union Bible College: Christian education 1986-90
Ivy Tech Community College: Associate’s degree in Hospitality Administration GPA 3.5
Indiana Wesleyan University: Bachelor of Science in the Psychology of Human Relations GPA 3.67 with a
finish date of March 2017 graduating with magna cum laude honors.
AWARDS AND ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
I worked with autism and have 25 years experience. I am the mother of an autistic child and educated
him through homeschool until he was able to obtain his GED. I was able to help him reach his full
potential and he is a successful adult today.
I owned my own business working as an assistant to elderly for twelve years while raising my children.
I worked as a chef in dementia care.
I worked for a charity as an employee and as a volunteer, at times working 18 hour days.
