Existing Product
This game is very similar to the game I
want to produce, the maze in the
background is brightly coloured, the
sprites displayed on the image on the left,
implies an eerie, creepy feel towards what
should be a fun, gentle game, the game
gives off quite a retro feel and looks quite
“old fashioned” I get this feeling because
of the graphics of the game, the angle that
has been used is an aerial shot, by using
this angle this shows the audience the
whole outset of the game, the style of the
text that has been used is very clear and
pixelated.
Existing Product
This games makes it audience want to
play it because it looks fun to play and it
also looks as if it could attract young
boys and girls because its colourful and
bright, the props used are a number of
round balls that collect little dots and the
location of the game is set in a maze, the
angle that has been used is an aerial
shot, by using this shot it shows the
audience the whole outset of the game,
the ghosts and over icons on the right
hand side of the image implies that the
game is quite creepy and eerie.

This game is different compared to other
ones, the characters in this game give off
a happy vibe because of the smiling red
dots and the colours used are friendly,
this will make the audience want to buy
the game and also because the game is
bright and can attract people easily, the
props used in this game are bullet like
blue objects and red dots with a face on,
and also green circles, the colours used
in this image are both bright but also
quite dark
Research Analysis
 What common features do the researched products have?
 They all have slightly the same background and icons used in each game, you get
the same feel off of each game, they also have some of the same colours and the
aim of the game is the same in each and the layout in each game is the same, also
all the the games are targeting the same age group, all games are made by using
pixels and the graphics are the same or near enough, they also all give off a retro
feel when you play them and all games where made using the same platform, all
the games are bright, and they attract you to play them
 What aspects of the research will you include within your on work?
 When I am making my final product I will include different parts of the existing games I have found,
I will make my product bright and I’ll make sure that it fits well with my target audience, I will be
adding the same character in my final product as seen in the existing games, I will also take away
the background aspects of the existing games and add one that I have found to be similar, I will
also make sure my product is friendly to make it attract my target audience,

Research Analysis  What common features do the researched products have?  They all have slightly the same background and icons used in each game, you get the same feel off of each game, they also have some of the same colours and the aim of the game is the same in each and the layout in each game is the same, also all the the games are targeting the same age group, all games are made by using pixels and the graphics are the same or near enough, they also all give off a retro feel when you play them and all games where made using the same platform, all the games are bright, and they attract you to play them  What aspects of the research will you include within your on work?  When I am making my final product I will include different parts of the existing games I have found, I will make my product bright and I’ll make sure that it fits well with my target audience, I will be adding the same character in my final product as seen in the existing games, I will also take away the background aspects of the existing games and add one that I have found to be similar, I will also make sure my product is friendly to make it attract my target audience,
