1. Step 1: Select “New Experiment” to start building your study.

2. Step 2: Add the websites you want to use either by entering the URL or by uploading a fireshot.
Best Practices:
● When to Use a Fireshot? When the website does not fully load when entering a URL.
● Size Suggestions: Maximum 1280px width and 3000px length.

3. Step 3: Choose the areas in which you want statistics for once your study is complete.
Best Practices:
● Want to overlay your own ad or video ? Select “Upload an Ad or Upload a YouTube Clip” from the top right.
● You can create as many AOI’s as you need and they can overlap if needed.

4. Step 4: This is the methodology page where you want to choose how your study will run.
Best Practices:
● We recommend a 150 sample size to get 30 usables per stimuli.
● Be sure to include important details in your directions. Example: Remember to eep your head still, make sure you are in a well lit room.
● GenPop: Field your study using Amazon’s Mechanical turk which is a general population from the USA. It is an additional $1 per respondent.

5. Step 5: Review how you setup your study and preview how your respondents will see it.

6. Step 6: Follow the progress of your study while it is in field.
Best Practices:
● Close Now: If you reach 30 usables before you have the needed completes you can close out your study early.
● Sessions: Take a closer look at each respondent and why they may or may not have been usable or exclude any test sessions before fully lauching.

7. Step 7: Once your study is complete your results page will load.
Best Practices:
● Edit your AOI to refresh the statistics being shown in the chart.
● Check out other deliverables in the dropdown below the heatmap.
● Download (Coming soon): Download all of the results data into one zip file on your computer.
