  1. 1968 study group set up in Holland Triodos Foundation established 1971 Triodos Bank NV established in 1980 European expansion - Belgium 1993, UK 1995, Spain 2004, Germany 2009 (and lending to Ireland through UK and France through Belgium). 1990 launched our first green funds 1994 launched two of the world’s first Microfinance Funds 1995 Triodos Renewables Plc launched launch of personal current account service in Netherlands in 2007.
