SUMMARY
Our business idea is to create a clothing brand for expecting women. Now a days women don't want to sit
and rest at homes instead they want to work even during their pregnancy and they want to feel good and
look good and wants to feel comfortable in every possible way.The idea behind creating this brand is to solve
the problems faced by the women during pregnancy. Women don't get the right size and fit in clothing during
their pregnacy period. Their are few brands which have started creating maternity garments but that is not
enough to meet the needs of women. The first priority of a pregnant women is comfort. Finding comfortable
clothes with a right type of silhouette specifically made according to the size of a pregnant women is difficult
during these days. There are working women, who works even during the time of pregnancy so their prirority
is to find comfort along with it the style. So comfort with style is the important factor that our brand will offer
to the clients.Additionally, there is a preference for natural textiles/fabrics such as cotton suitable to the warm
and humid climate of India and lycra for the stretchability during pregnancy. so this is the reason behind using
the organic fabrics because these fabrics are skin friendly and really essential for a pregnant women. Apart
from this, our brand will spread the idea of sustainability through the use organic fabrics. So our brand is not
only considering the benefits related to the skin but also keeping in mind about the environment because at
this point of time our environment needs saving more than any other time.
Other than using the organic fabrics, Natural dying is our another step towards protecting the environment.
Natural dying is done from the plants and vegetables extracts which can easily get decomposed in the soil.
Chemical dying is harmful because when it is done on some synthetic fabrics, it releases some gases which
are harmful for both mother and the baby. So use of organic fabrics and natural dying is the Usp of our brand.
Increasingly, women continue to work during pregnancy and practice activities such as yoga and swimming.
Mothers-to-be need garments that ‘fit’ professional and leisure activities; this research identifies the
opportunities for the apparel industry, from manufacturers, to retailers and merchandisers, to expand into this
target market.
The most important criterion in the purchasing decision is size and fit. This is followed by the quality and the
price. Our brand will provide all the sizes that will fulfill the demands of women with differnet body proportion
during pregnancy. Along with the size, our brand will provide wide variety of garments in terms of silhouettes,
colours, patterns, prints etc. What we see today is that, there are brands that offers maternnity wear but
there are not much of the options in terms of design element.
We will fulfill this need of women and they will have lot of variations to choose from and those clothes will be
affordable so that women can buy them without thinking twice.

The supply the products to business firm or retailers can sell the end good directly to the customers.
2.Competitors: Competitors will try to win market share by cutting costs, improving efficiency, lowering
price and innovating by either creating new products and services or improving upon old ones. In other
words, competition tends to give consumers better goods and services at lower prices. In our business,
we have studied about the competitors and we try to give the customers products that are really functional,
better quality and better service.
3.Media: Branding. Social media affects the way customers perceive a business's brand. However, social
media opened up a new level of dialogue between a business and its consumers. The type of consumers
who connect with a business using social media influences the way other potential consumers perceive the
business's brand.
We will promote our business on social media used the most by the pregnant women and on all those
websited visited by the expecting mothers that can benefit our business.

get it right are more likely to retain customers and have those customers recommend the products or
services to a friend.
We will try to give the best customer service and customer attention to everyone and always take their
feedbacks to improve ourselves where ever we lack. We try to build the trust among our customer with
complete transparency.
5.Shareholders: Shareholders also have direct influence on a business because they have voting rights on
major corporate decisions. Shareholders vote, for instance, on elections of company board members.
Activist shareholders who own large amounts of stock may also voice concerns publicly in an effort to sway
company decisions.
6.Cost: Production costs are expenses, such as materials and labor, that your company incurs in the course
of producing the product that you sell to consumers. In general, the lower your production cost, the higher
your profit, or the amount you have left over after you subtract your expenses from your sales revenue.
We will try to give the customer the best quality products and it will not be compromised but we will calculate

INTENDED
OUTCOME
1. Business plan project helps us to understand the importance of planning.
2. Business plan is the blueprint of the idea, without this a business can not work well.
3. This helps us to think beyond our abilities and helps us to do the research in a right way.
4. This makes things easy for us to make any business plan in future after completion of our studies.
5. We have the idea of the step wise procedure of making a plan.
6. We have made strategies of marketing to promote the business because no matter what we are making
and how brilliant it is, if marketing strategy is not right we cannot sell the product.
7. Similarly, making the financial plan helps us to understand how things should be done under budget
and how all the expenses are divided in categories to make things easy.
8. This project helps us to understand the strength, weakness, opportunities and threats of a business
faced by anyone with a startup.
9. Specifically in our idea, we understood a lot about women problems and we came to the solutions by
doing research and consulting the right persons.
10. The range planning and designs helps us to apply our ideas in real life. This is a practical thing to do
because we get the exact idea of the designs and variety we will be selling in future.
11. Making the production files and all the specification sheets gave us the idea of alignment and it gives
the direction of channeling things when made in a large quantity.
12. Interacting with the faculties and industry people helps us to understand the key factors required before
starting up the business.
13. This also makes us understand the value of unity, discipline and how things become easy when done in
a group of people. Dividing the work among ourselves not only made the work easy but it also provide
us the support and motivation.
14. We came to about about the effect of different economical, social and political factors and how they can
effect any business and how they should be considered before starting the business.
15. We get to know the different pricing strategies and how we have to set the prices of different products
keeping in mind the competitors price and penetrating pricing method etc.
16. Also, knowing about the competitors helps us to make something different and relevant that is not there
in the market. We start thing beyond our bounderies.
17. Studying about the problems first before creating anything helps us to create the right product and its
demand will definitely be there in the market. So to get the customer base for the product, we need to
study the problems, requirements of our customers and what is lacking in the market and how we can
fill the gap.
008
ELEVATOR
PITCH
Our idea is to create a clothing brand for expectant mother. Now a days women don't want to sit and rest at
homes instead they want to work even during their pregnancy and they want to feel good and look good and
wants to feel comfortable in every possible way.The idea behind creating this brand is to grow awareness
over the importance of wearing comfortable clothes during pregnancy. Few of the benefits of maternity
apparel include easy mobility, and stretchable fabric that stretch comfortably across the body eliminating
uncomfortable constriction and pressure on the growing womb. Additionally, there is a preference for natural
textiles/fabrics such as cotton suitable to the warm and humid climate of India and lycra for the stretchability
during pregnancy. so this is the reason behind using the organic fabrics because these fabrics are skin friendly
and really essential for a pregnant women. Apart from this, our brand will spread the idea of sustainability
through the use organic fabrics. So our brand is not only considering the benefits related to the skin but also
keeping in mind about the environment because at this point of time our environment needs saving more
than any other time. Other than using the organic fabrics, Natural dying is our another step towards
protecting the environment. Our brand will provide all the sizes that will fulfill the demands of women with
differnet body proportion during pregnancy. Along with the size, our brand will provide wide variety of
garments in terms of silhouettes, colours, patterns, prints etc.

  • 9. Our business idea is to create a clothing brand for expecting women. Now a days women don't want to sit and rest at homes instead they want to work even during their pregnancy and they want to feel good and look good and wants to feel comfortable in every possible way.The idea behind creating this brand is to solve the problems faced by the women during pregnancy. Women don't get the right size and fit in clothing during their pregnacy period. Their are few brands which have started creating maternity garments but that is not enough to meet the needs of women. The first priority of a pregnant women is comfort. Finding comfortable clothes with a right type of silhouette specifically made according to the size of a pregnant women is difficult during these days. There are working women, who works even during the time of pregnancy so their prirority is to find comfort along with it the style. So comfort with style is the important factor that our brand will offer to the clients.Additionally, there is a preference for natural textiles/fabrics such as cotton suitable to the warm and humid climate of India and lycra for the stretchability during pregnancy. so this is the reason behind using the organic fabrics because these fabrics are skin friendly and really essential for a pregnant women. Apart from this, our brand will spread the idea of sustainability through the use organic fabrics. So our brand is not only considering the benefits related to the skin but also keeping in mind about the environment because at this point of time our environment needs saving more than any other time. Other than using the organic fabrics, Natural dying is our another step towards protecting the environment. Natural dying is done from the plants and vegetables extracts which can easily get decomposed in the soil. Chemical dying is harmful because when it is done on some synthetic fabrics, it releases some gases which are harmful for both mother and the baby. So use of organic fabrics and natural dying is the Usp of our brand. Increasingly, women continue to work during pregnancy and practice activities such as yoga and swimming. Mothers-to-be need garments that ‘fit’ professional and leisure activities; this research identifies the opportunities for the apparel industry, from manufacturers, to retailers and merchandisers, to expand into this target market. The most important criterion in the purchasing decision is size and fit. This is followed by the quality and the price. Our brand will provide all the sizes that will fulfill the demands of women with differnet body proportion during pregnancy. Along with the size, our brand will provide wide variety of garments in terms of silhouettes, colours, patterns, prints etc. What we see today is that, there are brands that offers maternnity wear but there are not much of the options in terms of design element. We will fulfill this need of women and they will have lot of variations to choose from and those clothes will be affordable so that women can buy them without thinking twice.
  • 11. Mission • Our brand Mother’s charm main agenda is to offer the customers a wide range of functional products to choose from. To become the premier maternity brand for the expectant mother. This will be accomplished by offering the newest fashions and the highest level of customer attention. • Solve the majority of problems faced by the expecting women. • Spreading the message of sustainability Objective • To create maternity clothes and accessory brand with lot of variety. • Quickly gain market share by addressing the upper-end price point of maternity clothing. • To create awareness about organic fabric and its values. • Offer the customer more sustainable clothing that will result in making a positive effect to countless individuals. • To create functional garments that will solve the problems faced by women during pregnancy. Vision 1. To make our brand, a sustainable brand in every form possible. 2. To increase the product width of maternity wear. 3. We strive to be a global leader in maternity wear by empowering innovation and design to provide total customer satisfaction. 4. To innovate, to lead, to enhance, to provide best value products and services to global customers.

This helps us to think beyond our abilities and helps us to do the research in a right way. 4. This makes things easy for us to make any business plan in future after completion of our studies. 5. We have the idea of the step wise procedure of making a plan. 6. We have made strategies of marketing to promote the business because no matter what we are making and how brilliant it is, if marketing strategy is not right we cannot sell the product. 7. Similarly, making the financial plan helps us to understand how things should be done under budget and how all the expenses are divided in categories to make things easy. 8. This project helps us to understand the strength, weakness, opportunities and threats of a business faced by anyone with a startup. 9. Specifically in our idea, we understood a lot about women problems and we came to the solutions by doing research and consulting the right persons. 10. The range planning and designs helps us to apply our ideas in real life. This is a practical thing to do because we get the exact idea of the designs and variety we will be selling in future. 11. Making the production files and all the specification sheets gave us the idea of alignment and it gives the direction of channeling things when made in a large quantity. 12. Interacting with the faculties and industry people helps us to understand the key factors required before starting up the business. 13. This also makes us understand the value of unity, discipline and how things become easy when done in a group of people. Dividing the work among ourselves not only made the work easy but it also provide us the support and motivation. 14. We came to about about the effect of different economical, social and political factors and how they can effect any business and how they should be considered before starting the business. 15. We get to know the different pricing strategies and how we have to set the prices of different products keeping in mind the competitors price and penetrating pricing method etc. 16. Also, knowing about the competitors helps us to make something different and relevant that is not there in the market. We start thing beyond our bounderies. 17. Studying about the problems first before creating anything helps us to create the right product and its demand will definitely be there in the market. So to get the customer base for the product, we need to study the problems, requirements of our customers and what is lacking in the market and how we can fill the gap.
  • 43. Our idea is to create a clothing brand for expectant mother. Now a days women don't want to sit and rest at homes instead they want to work even during their pregnancy and they want to feel good and look good and wants to feel comfortable in every possible way.The idea behind creating this brand is to grow awareness over the importance of wearing comfortable clothes during pregnancy. Few of the benefits of maternity apparel include easy mobility, and stretchable fabric that stretch comfortably across the body eliminating uncomfortable constriction and pressure on the growing womb. Additionally, there is a preference for natural textiles/fabrics such as cotton suitable to the warm and humid climate of India and lycra for the stretchability during pregnancy. so this is the reason behind using the organic fabrics because these fabrics are skin friendly and really essential for a pregnant women. Our brand will provide all the sizes that will fulfill the demands of women with differnet body proportion during pregnancy. Along with the size, our brand will provide wide variety of garments in terms of silhouettes, colours, patterns, prints etc.
