2. HISTORY
The first IMTS was held in Cleveland in 1927
and has since become a biannual event, held
every even-numbered year.
● The show had a crowd of 12,000 professionals and
customers.
● There were 428 machines on display.
3. 2014 IMTS
Today, the IMTS is the largest manufacturing trade
show in North America. It is set to draw more than the
previous show and have more than 100,000 visitors.
