This document provides information about an upcoming pitching competition for logistics automation projects taking place on May 8th in Tallinn. It outlines the rules and scoring criteria for the 7-minute pitches, which will be judged by a panel based on the business case, technical specifications, and simulation demonstrations. Topics covered include the required elements for the pitch, how scores will be calculated, tips for effective pitching, and details about joining the L4MS network.

7. Pitching tips
• Address ALL the criteria
• Start with a general introduction of your project
• Create a story: begin with a challenge and give solution
• Keep the presentation clear and concise
• KPIs have to show the potential impact, be realistic and
measurable
8. Pitching tips
• Practice the pitch with a timer
• It’s easier to focus on 1 presenter than a few people
• Use any form: official L4MS PPT template, your own canvas, etc.
• Additional materials (i.e. videos, plans/drawings, simulations) are always
good
• Presentations have to be sent in before May 6, 2019. The address will be
provided. The name file has to include your project’s acronym
