- My Name is Brad Langford from The Renowaster Company and we are going to eradicate the scourge of landfills from North America with your $3m investment. But First let me ask you a question …
- What’s the value in your trash can at home right now? Take out the plastic and the metals and you’d get $400/ton for that. But what about the rest? The smelly bits of food and yard waste? What’s that worth? Negative 40$ because that’s what it costs you to have the hauler landfill it. Over 70% of trash in USA is still being landfilled. That is enough to fill the Queen Mary from floor to ceiling every day, 25 times over. Landfilling trash costs us $14 billion per year.
- Landfills produce 20% OF ALL atmospheric METHANE emissions - that’s equivalent to 2% of all GHGs in USA. Add that to the contamination of surface and groundwater with the seeping of volatile organic compounds and toxins and it’s like creating a natural disaster each and every day.
- By 2019, over 700,000 businesses in California will have to recycle ALL of their organic waste. That’s a lot of companies looking for an organic waste solution. Maybe even your own. But Waste haulers have the same problem. There is no economically viable alternative to landfilling organic waste. So what’s the solution?
- This little fella. Once upon a time he was a piece of organic material that no-one wanted. He felt worthless and alone. He was thrown into the trash and collected by the garbage guys. Fully expecting to be landfilled where he would rot away releasing methane into the atmosphere. And toxins into the ground. But not this fella This fella was sterilized and dried and compressed into the pellet he is today It doesn’t rot It doesn’t smell It has 10,000 Btu/lb of energy – the same as wood pellets. It burns cleanly Add it to coal in a power plant and it will reduce the CO2 emissions by 25% This little fella doesn’t feel worthless anymore He wants to help the environment not harm it. Now he is a positive value of 75$ per ton not a cost of $40 per ton.
- Our Renowaster technology sterilises mixed trash and transforms it into clean burning biomass fuel pellets for electrical power. The Renowaster was invented and patented by our partner in Spain in response to the landfill bans in Europe. The Renowaster Company has an exclusive license in perpetuity to commercialize this opportunity to eliminate landfills and generate clean fuel in North America.
- Our pilot plant in Spain has been processing all the trash for a city of 50,000 people for over 3 years. 95% of trash never gets to the landfill, and the Renowaster produces $3m in annual revenues from the sale of biomass.
- The potential energy contained in the trash we landfill today would heat and light the Staples Centre, and LA County and the 5 surrounding counties all year long. 572 Renowasters will be required in CA to meet the new regulations by 2019. We will earn over $680 million in gross profit for the company just to meet this demand in CA. And the BioMass Fuel will generate enough electricity to power 8.5 million homes.
- Separating organics from mixed trash has always been an expensive and thankless enterprise. By this simple sterilisation process, the Renowaster creates a clean and valuable biomass output at a cost that is 10 times lower than any existing technology.
- Landfill bans are coming to California and with your help so is the Renowaster. We are seeking $3m now, to complete, transport, permit and operate a plant that is California compliant at an existing recycling facility. Investors in this first California Plant will earn a 100% rate of return in 36 months.
- This plant has multiple revenue streams. The first is a fee of $25/ton from the waste hauler to process the waste they would normally landfill. Secondly, biomass sales will be $1.8 million/year and other recyclables will be $1.3 million. Thirdly, the facility will purchase the first plant after 2 years of operation. This enables us to offer investors a 100% return after 36 months.
- WE project generating $50 million in net operating cash during the following 3 years. This revenue is generated from technology sales and service contracts and a biomass aggregation service for our customers to guarantee the highest revenue for their biomass output.
- Our diverse start up team have been working on this project for over 3 years and has a common belief that this Landfill replacement technology is essential for North America to meet its energy needs and its Environmental obligations.
