2. Ingrid Michaelson is a 35 year old American indie pop singer-songwriter. Her first
album ‘Slow the Rain’ was released in 2005 and she has since released 5 move
albums. She is half Swedish and was born to artist parents. In 2006, Michaelson
independently put out her second album. Her previous music was streamed on
Myspace. Michaelson married fellow musician Greg Laswell in 2011. In February
2015, following a rough of stomach and throat problems and the death of her
mother and dog, Michaelson and Laswell announced that they mutually decided to
split.
