• The average lifespan of a redwood tree is about
600 years! The oldest redwood has lived for
3,200 years (this tree is not living.)

redwoods, coast
redwoods and
giant sequoias.
The oldest coast
redwood lived for
about 3,200 years
while the oldest
giant sequoia
lived for about
2,200 years.
