Resettlement/Indigenous Peoples.More than twenty years of experience in the preparation,
implementation and evaluation of: Resettlement Plans and Indigenous Peoples Development
Plans for public/private sector projects covering virtually all development sectors and financial
modalities and fitting various MFIs' Safeguards Policies. Establishment and operational
management of departmental social safeguards teams at MFIs Extensive experience with
reputational risks management, inspection panels and solution of compliance issues.
Social Safeguards Policies Development and Mainstreaming. Direct involvement in: Social
Safeguards policy review at MFIs. Country Safeguards Systems development, including
preparation of National Resettlement policies and donor harmonization plans. Adaptation of
existing social safeguards to new financial instruments and Disaster & Emergency Projects.
