A close friend once told me, "One thing I can say about you though, is that you know what you want and you GO for it."
I live this in every aspect of my life.
I have always wanted to be a writer. My fifth grade teacher told me, "whatever you do, you must write." Since then, I've followed the path of a writer. Majoring in Journalism: Media Studies was my dream come true.
I joined the Campus Press (now the CU Independent) as a reporter and quickly moved up the ranks. Throughout my tenure at the paper, we went through a rebranding, launched the digital publication and a social media campaign to gain readership.
