2. Goals To prepare 4 and 5 year old children to get ready for first grade. To do this one teaches them to follow instructions. They learn to sit still for good links of time, like they will have to in first grade. Learn to work with other children their age in different situation.
3. Examples of how to achieve some goals Teach them line up for things like using the bathroom, going outside and for fire drills. Teach them to take turns with their piers, although no one truly learns this. Teach them to use books correctly, no drawing in them or tearing them up. Teach them to make things where they have to listen to complete it.
4. Rewards Seeing the children learn to be patient, learn manner, learn colors, letters, numbers, ECT. (there are too many to name) Seeing them begin to ask questions and truly want to learn the answers. Watch them memorize songs and love coming to the center to learn more.
5. My Hopes as a Teacher I hope that I make school fun and exciting while still teaching my students the basics that will carry them through life. Never get so serious about my job that I expect to much from my kids and hate my job. Learn to interact better with parents and hope I do well in sticky situations with parents that are bound to come up.
6. My Reasons for becoming a Teacher I love kids and want to help them grow into great adults. I have a great tolerance for kids that I hope never leaves that make me see kids behaviors as normal events. I can spot kids with problems very easily and hope that I can help those children as much as I do those that have no problems (or fewer).
