KEY ACHIEVEMENTS
 Successfully supported the Health Safety and Environmental agenda and provided guidance on management
system compliance and other relevant standards. Established, documented, audited and drove the adoption
of key HSE processes as well as supported the definition, development and roll out of support services to
ensure personnel and contractors met company, statutory and regulatory requirements.
 Managed HSE on numerous high profile exploration projects including preparation of QHSE and Emergency
Response Plans and bridging documentation, to integrate with client management system. Completed
management system audits and contractor review audits.
 Responsible for success of major vessel dry docking project ensuring smooth flow of supply chain processes
and complete alignment for seismic contractors and suppliers. Ensuring conformance with technical,
quality, and contractual requirements, in order to deliver 17M USD project on schedule.
 Investigated new suppliers to provide equipment at a reduced cost due to a price increase from regular
suppliers. Secured 2 new suppliers to provide equipment at significantly reduced rates with the same
guarantee of service leading to a savings in the order of 5-8%.
 Devised new methods to change technical set up on a project to address a major service quality issue so
enableing an earlier start to the survey and an improvement in the delivery schedule. Method created a
time saving in excess of 300000 USD, and a large enhancement in client relations.
 Worked with technical leads to create technical specification for a field survey after key technical issues
identified by 3rd party auditor. Solution enabled survey to take place and provided a significant cost savings
in the millions of dollars and ensured a business relationship was maintained as well as preserving company
reputation.

Key operational responsibility for seismic exploration surveys, execution and development and delivery for a
variety of international oil majors. Key focal point for internal and external stakeholders including regulatory
authorities. Responsible for managing over 50 personnel on a marine exploration vessel with an estimated asset
value in excess of USD100M and monthly revenues in excess of USD10M. Provided leadership for cross-functional
teams to ensure that potential hazards were identified, understood and mitigated against to ensure personnel
execute tasks safely.
 Provided guidance and assistance to subordinate managers on HSE / Operational issues for resolution. Also
monitored performance levels and implemented corrective actions as needed. Investigated and documented
reportable/recordable incidents. Utilised company Safety and Risk Management System to support key
project activities.
 Daily client management discussions regarding Health and Safety planning, risk management and incident
reporting, considerable face time required to discuss and explain routine and non routine complex tasks.

including review and feedback implementation. Experience of maritime auditing OVID and IMCA, and ISM
and ISPS implementation onboard marine vessels.

<300k per month surpassing Key Performance Indicators.

achieved employee retention targets.
 Traced and resolved critical issues to minimise project risk factors and supported the establishment of
robust change management and Quality Assurance procedures.
 Developed key technical competence in Lean methodologies in supporting process improvement and waste
reduction. Successfully achieved total lean savings in excess of 500K USD from 2014 to 2015.
