Investigated new suppliers to provide equipment at a reduced cost due to a price increase from regular
suppliers. Secured 2 new suppliers to provide equipment at significantly reduced rates with the same
guarantee of service leading to a savings in the order of 5-8%.
Devised new methods to change technical set up on a project to address a major service quality issue so
enableing an earlier start to the survey and an improvement in the delivery schedule. Method created a
time saving in excess of 300000 USD, and a large enhancement in client relations.
Worked with technical leads to create technical specification for a field survey after key technical issues
identified by 3rd party auditor. Solution enabled survey to take place and provided a significant cost savings
in the millions of dollars and ensured a business relationship was maintained as well as preserving company
reputation.
