Creating street environments which are inviting people out on to them is not just what we need to get our population physically active but to improve our health in many ways – social interaction, tackling isolation, anxiety, road injuries, air pollution etc.
And all of these are connected because if you want to get everyone active everyday, which we need for our health and wellbeing we need to create street environments which are inviting to walk and cycle in and the only way we can do that is by tackling all of the other health impacts of our street environments.
