Getting Started
Administrator Users
Prerequisites
You must have a paid LeadSquared account.
Visit https://www.leadsquared.com/ for pricing information.
If you already have one, take note of your LeadSquared account number. You’ll need to provide it in all communication with us.
Know which lead fields you want to create in LeadSquared.
For example, you may need a lead field for course or exam results
if you run an education business. If you run a travel business, you may need to have a field for budget and travel interest.
Decide which lead field you want to mark as unique.
The email address and phone fields are unique by default but you can change these to whatever suits your convenience.
E.g., PAN Number, Aadhaar Number, Social Security Number, etc.
This will help you avoid creating duplicate leads and keep your data clean.
Ensure you’re using the correct URL to login to your LeadSquared account.
The login URLs are region based

U.S.A. region - https://us11.leadsquared.com
Singapore region - https://run.leadsquared.com
Prerequisites
Have your lead capture sources in order.
You can integrate all your third-party lead capture sources with LeadSquared including online ads, chat, email, telephony, etc.
You’ll need access to your Domain Name System (DNS).
This will help you configure LeadSquared landing pages to capture new leads.
Get access to the APIs of the accounts you want to integrate with LeadSquared.
You’ll need the API keys of any third-party accounts (Justdial, Ozonetel, etc.) you want to integrate with LeadSquared.
Ensure you have access to your website’s HTML.
You’ll need install the LeadSquared tracking script on your website to track leads and activities.

Basic Settings:
Your Profile
Update your personal details, work details, location info and other custom details you want to store.
Navigate to My Account>Settings>Account Settings>My Profile
Update Your Profile
You can use your email signature on the emails you send out from your LeadSquared account. You can create both HTML and
text signatures.
Navigate to My Account>Settings>Account Settings>My Email Signature
Create Your Email Signature
Select which reports you would like to receive. You can also customize the columns you want to view.
Navigate to My Account>Settings>Account Settings>My Report Subscriptions
Report Subscriptions
Update your company details like preferred country code, default currency, time zone etc.

Add Your Organization’s Details
Upload your organization’s logo. Once uploaded, it will be displayed on the top left corner of your screen

View details of your plan and your LeadSquared usage limits and stats. Contact sales@leadsquared.com

Permission templates let you control access to reports, apps, leads activities and tasks. Create a permission
template first, then assign it at the user, role or sales group level.

Once you’ve created a permission template, you can assign it at the user, role or group level. Pick a particular template and click
Apply Template.

Basic Settings:
Teams and Attendance Management
Navigate to My Account>Settings>Users and Permissions>Teams

Create teams to reflect your organization’s hierarchy. You can later setup attendance management, auto check-
in/check-out and smart views for your teams.

Navigate to My Account>Settings>Users and Permissions>User Check-in
User Check-In/Check-Out lets you know when and where your users’ check-in and check-out of LeadSquared
and their online statuses. You also get insights on the general attendance trends of your users through
reporting.
Once enabled, users will see this
widget every time they check-in.

Navigate to My Account>Settings>Users and Permissions>Work Day Templates
With workday templates, you can automate check-in and check-out for your users. Create workday templates to
define the work shifts of each of your teams.
After creating workday templates for different
teams, assign them by clicking Assign Team under
the Actions menu.

Navigate to My Account>Settings>Users and Permissions>Holiday Calendar.
Holiday Calendars let you define annual holidays and then assign them to different teams. So if you have a U.S.
team and an India team, you can define the various national holidays and apply them to the corresponding
teams. You can even include the different state holidays for teams operating in different states within a country.
After creating holiday calendars for different teams, assign them
by clicking Assign Team under the Actions menu.

All the leaves your users apply for show up here. As an admin, you can create leaves on behalf of other users as well.

Basic Settings:
Lead Tracking
Navigate to My Account>Settings>Lead Tracking>Tracking Script
The LeadSquared Tracking script tracks the pages on your website your leads are visiting. Copy the script and
paste it on all pages of your website before the closing </body> tag.
• Paste the tracking script on all
pages of your website.
• We have a plug-in available for
WordPress websites.
• The script differs for HTTP
and HTTPS websites.
• If your subscription plan
supports multiple domains,
put the script on all domains.

Navigate to My Account>Settings>Lead Tracking>Website & Landing Page Domains
*You can connect LeadSquared with multiple websites and landing page sub-domains. You can track website
visits on multiple domains (and sub-domains in each domain). You can also associate multiple domains for your
landing pages.

1. Your landing pages are hosted by LeadSquared. The default hosting domain
http://<youraccountname>.viewpage.co. You can choose to change this and host the landing pages in your
own domain.
2. Create a cName record in your DNS and point it to cloud.viewpage.co. For example, if your domain name
is yourdomain.com and cName is pages, then the setting will look like pages.yourdomain.com points to
cloud.viewpage.co
3. After creating the cName, navigate to My Account>Settings>Lead Tracking>Website & Landing
Page Domains and specify the sub-domain there.

This setting ensures accurate tracking of website visits of your leads who open emails sent through
LeadSquared.
Create a cName record called ‘click’ in your DNS and point to go.transfersecure.net. For example, if your
domain name is yourdomain.com, the setting will look like click.yourdomain.com points to
go.transfersecure.net
After creating a cName record, login to LeadSquared and go to My Account>Settings>Lead
Tracking>Email Link Domain and click the ‘Confirm New Domain’ button.

If you want to disable tracking for certain IP addresses, navigate to My Account>Settings>Lead
Tracking>Ignore IPs
Ignore IPs
You can use your landing pages in multiple marketing campaigns, such as Facebook, Google Pay Per Click ads
and so on. To do this, you’ll first need to create tracking URLs with UTM parameters (source, campaign,
content, etc.). These settings are available at My Account>Settings>Lead Tracking>Tracking URLs

Reverse IP lookup identifies the
location of a lead when they
submit on a LeadSquared
landing page. If you don’t want
LeadSquared to automatically
capture these details, disable this
setting from My
Account>Settings>Reverse
IP Lookup
If you want to track multiple email
opens for the same lead navigate to
My Account>Settings>Multiple
Email Opens. This setting is
helpful in case the emails are
forwarded in the same organization,
and different people open it to
trigger a higher lead score.

Customize LeadSquared:

Add more custom fields for your users here. Adding date-time fields like birthdays and joining dates will later help you
send automated greetings to your users.
You can add up to 10 custom fields.

Lead fields capture information on your leads. LeadSquared comes pre-built with a number of system created fields. In
addition to editing the system fields, you can also create new custom fields to capture information specific to your
business requirements.

You can set up dependent fields (type must be drop-down) by selecting a parent and child field. For example, country
and city are dependent fields, based on the country selected, the choice of cities appear.

The lead stage represents the progression of your leads down your marketing funnel. You can create new stages as well
as rename or delete existing ones.

Scoring Work
You can manually create leads through the ‘Quick Add Lead’ form, ‘Add New Lead’ form and ‘Capture Lead’ form on
mobile. Create new sections, arrange fields, hide fields and customize the forms to your liking.

The lead score tells you how active a lead is. You can configure the lead score by assigning different scores to each
activity based on their relative importance.
Online activities (email open/click, website visits, etc.) are automatically tracked by LeadSquared.

Scoring Work
You can create custom activities and associate scores to it. Custom activities must be posted manually by your users.
Some examples from different industries are site visits, attended webinar, attended demo, walked in to branch, etc.

The lead quality criteria lets you define the attributes and values that constitute an ideal lead for your business.
For example, you may be looking for leads within a demographic or with certain qualifications. You can choose
the weightage you want to assign each attribute and define scores based on the attribute values.

The engagement score is a measure of how active a lead has been in recently. You can define the time period and

Getting started for admins

  • 2. Prerequisites You must have a paid LeadSquared account. Visit https://www.leadsquared.com/ for pricing information. If you already have one, take note of your LeadSquared account number. You’ll need to provide it in all communication with us. Know which lead fields you want to create in LeadSquared. For example, you may need a lead field for course or exam results if you run an education business. If you run a travel business, you may need to have a field for budget and travel interest. Decide which lead field you want to mark as unique. The email address and phone fields are unique by default but you can change these to whatever suits your convenience. E.g., PAN Number, Aadhaar Number, Social Security Number, etc. This will help you avoid creating duplicate leads and keep your data clean. Ensure you’re using the correct URL to login to your LeadSquared account.   • 3. Prerequisites Have your lead capture sources in order. You can integrate all your third-party lead capture sources with LeadSquared including online ads, chat, email, telephony, etc. You’ll need access to your Domain Name System (DNS). This will help you configure LeadSquared landing pages to capture new leads. Get access to the APIs of the accounts you want to integrate with LeadSquared. You’ll need the API keys of any third-party accounts (Justdial, Ozonetel, etc.) you want to integrate with LeadSquared. Ensure you have access to your website’s HTML. You’ll need install the LeadSquared tracking script on your website to track leads and activities.

  • 22. Navigate to My Account>Settings>Users and Permissions>Work Day Templates With workday templates, you can automate check-in and check-out for your users. Create workday templates to define the work shifts of each of your teams. After creating workday templates for different teams, assign them by clicking Assign Team under the Actions menu.   • 23. Navigate to My Account>Settings>Users and Permissions>Holiday Calendar. Holiday Calendars let you define annual holidays and then assign them to different teams. So if you have a U.S. team and an India team, you can define the various national holidays and apply them to the corresponding teams. You can even include the different state holidays for teams operating in different states within a country.   • 28. 1. Your landing pages are hosted by LeadSquared. The default hosting domain http://<youraccountname>.viewpage.co. You can choose to change this and host the landing pages in your own domain. 2. Create a cName record in your DNS and point it to cloud.viewpage.co. For example, if your domain name is yourdomain.com and cName is pages, then the setting will look like pages.yourdomain.com points to cloud.viewpage.co 3.   • 29. This setting ensures accurate tracking of website visits of your leads who open emails sent through LeadSquared. Create a cName record called ‘click’ in your DNS and point to go.transfersecure.net. To do this, you’ll first need to create tracking URLs with UTM parameters (source, campaign, content, etc.).   • 32. Reverse IP lookup identifies the location of a lead when they submit on a LeadSquared landing page. If you don’t want LeadSquared to automatically capture these details, disable this setting from My Account>Settings>Reverse IP Lookup If you want to track multiple email opens for the same lead navigate to My Account>Settings>Multiple Email Opens.
