3. Considerationsfor Implementationof ICT
Plan
• Continuously engage and involve school leaders and
key personnel throughout the implementation process so that they can support
the implementation processes,
• Identify the owners/drivers who will be responsible for
implementing the ICT Plan and work closely to support them
• Develop a communication plan to reach out and update
stakeholders. This helps to clarify their roles and manage their expectations and
allow them to better support the plan
• Put in place a multi-level support structure
involving the ICT executive, TA, ICT Mentors, teacher champions, student
leaders, and external agencies. It is advisable to establish a rapport with them to
build commitment to the school and for implementation of the ICT Plan
4. Procurement Procedure
Procurement involves sourcing and acquiring resources needed
for the implementation of the School ICT Plan. This can be carried
out as follows:
• Source for ideas
• Invite vendors to demonstrate a range of products and
services. Compare the products and their prices on Government
e-Business (GeBiz), and touch base with other schools to gather
inputs.
• Adherence to School Financial Instruction Manual (SFIM)
• Work with the Administrative Manager (AM) to call for ITQ or
tender when required and involve key personnel in the evaluation
of the procurement. In addition, consult officers from ITB for
advice on ICT procurement matters.
5. Policies and Procedures
Existing school policies and procedures should be in alignment
with and support the implementation processes.
If necessary, the Lead Team may explore the need to formulate
new school policies and procedures, for example, introducing
procedures for evaluating learning resources/courseware. It
should also ensure that the ICT Plan adheres to MOE and
government policies, such as cyber wellness, and ICT security
policies

vision and goals?
• How do you know you are
working on the right
direction in meeting the
outcomes?
• What are your milestones
check?
• What are the tools to
measure?
• FGDs, Interviews etc.
• Key Performance Indicators
(KPIs)
• Who are involved?
Programme
• Are the programmes
meeting its learning
outcomes?
• What are the tools to
evaluate the programmes?
• Surveys, utilization
reports, artefacts, feedback
etc.
• Performance Indicators (PIs)
• Who are involved?

Facilitator to move on to the implementation of the plan.
RationaleReiterate the Tech planning process and move to the last stage (Evaluate ICT plan)
Rationale Highlight that it is necessary to review ICT implementation at different levels (Programme and Systemic)Reflect on who, what and how review can be done at different levels Systemic: qualitative review – referring back the outcome
RationaleHighlight the importance of systemic review to take stock of broader directionsExplain that different stakeholders are to be involved in the review processHighlight that KPI is for systemic review and PI is are programme review and also the different tools
