Universities are looking for students with great
potential. Once you are able to prove that you have the
capacity and the intention to make an impact on the
world, then you are well on your way to getting that
acceptance.
Good Academic Standing
You don’t have to be the smartest book on the shelf,
but understand the importance of excelling in all that
you do.
Involvement
You must be in at least one extra-curricular activity. It
shows how good you are at managing your time.
Essay
Be sure to sell yourself in the essay required in (some)
university applications. This is what will make you
stand out as an applicant.
Home or Abroad
When choosing between studying abroad amd in
your home country, it is important that you
weigh the benefits of each option while taking
into consideration living expenses and “quality”
of the degree programme.
While scholarship applications are competitive, the problem with scholarships
is that there are only a few that are well-known; the majority is waiting on you
to discover them. The internet only contains a fraction of what is offered.
There are numbers of organizations that either offer scholarships or are
willing to assist. You have to do your research and it’s best to start today.

Studying Abroad
If you wish to study in the U.S., I urge you to sit
the SATs and score as high as you possibly can.
For universities in the U.K., A-levels are
accepted with outstanding grades.
Applying
To apply for universities abroad, it is best to use
sites that allow you to use one main application
for multiple universities. Among the best are:
Common App, UCAS, CUCASand Universal
College Application.
