WHO WE ARE
Vernon Design Group is a full service interior and
architectural design firm offering professional services that
include AutoCAD and Revit drafting, full architectural and
interior design concepts, commercial or residential new
construction, renovation, and interior finish-out design and
finish selections.
The diverse and accredited staff at VDG has more than 20 years
of experience in the residential and commercial design arena.
Our expertise and years of experience in the Design and
Engineering world allows us to assist our clients in a
collaborative approach resulting in innovative, sustainable, and
unique design solutions.
Lesli Vernon – CEO/Owner: Lesli earned a Bachelor of Science in Interior
Design from Texas State University in 1998. She is a Registered Interior
Designer in the state of Texas and accredited with NCIDQ. She began
working with commercial architects, and then moved into residential design
working for a national home builder. Her 18+ years of design experience has
included large commercial projects with Samsung, industrial/retail design
(The Finish Line, Accenture), hospitality, and custom high end luxury homes
in the Austin area.
Heather Watkins – Project Manager: Heather holds a Bachelor of
Architecture degree from the University of Houston. She has spent the last
18 years working as a Team Designer, Project Manager and Project
Coordinator on Commercial, Residential, High-Tech, Municipal and
Government projects.
Shelly Buse – Project Designer: Shelly has over 20 years of experience in
civil, structural, mechanical, and Architectural drafting and holds an
Associate Degree in Engineering Design Graphics. Having worked with
various professionals (Architects, Engineers, Surveyors, and Designers) over
the years has allowed Shelly to gain diverse experience in a multitude of
various residential, commercial, and municipal projects.
Erin Abbey – Associate Designer: Erin has a Bachelor of Arts in Interior
Design and has experience in various aspects of the design process. Having
previous experience as a Design Assistant and Presentation/Selections
Designer allowed Erin to gain a thorough understanding of what it takes to
work with clients in conceptual design/drafting to selection finish outs.
