LiMux es el proyecto detrás de la migración a sistemas abiertos que ha permitido a Munich un ahorro de más de 13 millones de Euros. Este proyecto ha llevado las tecnologías abiertas a 11.000 terminales. Explicación de cómo ha sido el proceso por el cual una solución que costó apenas 350.000 dólares permite ahorrar millones a la Administración. Facts:
There is no decision to go to Microsoft.
Mayor Reiter wants to check the
efficiency of Munich's IT (organisation,
costs, performance, useability and user
satisfaction). There will be a public
tender for that study.
It is not clear if the often cited complaints
of Munich's users about the problems in
the IT are because of LiMux or are
based on processes, old
hardware/software or something else.
