The cultivation of Rice begins 6500 years ago.

Countries in Asia and Africa are highly depended on Rice as
source of foreign exchange earnings and government revenues.
Majority of rice is produced from India, China, Indonesia,
Thailand, Burma and Bangladesh.
92% rice is produced and cultivated in Asian Region.
