QR Code Basics
O QR (Quick Response) code is a two dimensional bar
code originally designed for the automotive industry
O Allow its contents to be decoded at high speed
O QR code reader required on your mobile phone
O When you see a QR code in traditional media
placements such as magazines or billboards
O Take a picture of it with your phone’s camera and you’ll be
directed to the embedded information of that code
O Programmed destination could be a website, video, text
message or telephone number
O Easy to create (using a QR generator application) and
then embed into the physical world
O With a minimal cost to entry, the possibilities for uses
