Responsible of Sensory Department Middle East & Africa (R&D) - BRF Middle East (SADIA) - UAE, Dubai: Meat Producers (January 2014 - Present)
Product Development including:
- Conducting Sensory Research through designing and leading on executing a comprehensive detailed research based on Marketing Department request to
develop a certain product. This research will result in defining the consumer expectations in terms of sensory attributes (Focus Groups and In-home visits)
- Developing Sensory Detailing by defining how the product sensory attributes would match the research findings
- Developing Prototypes alongside the R&D team based on the created provided Sensory Detailing
- Evaluation by the “Sensory Dept.” and doing continuous trials until the product complies with the previously specified Sensory Detailing
- Coordinate the outcomes with the Marketing so they can move forward with their product launching strategy
- Co-lead on evaluating the performance of the formed new product amongst the competition (Quantitative Research – Product Test)
- Creating Sensory Specifications document that states all the detailed guidelines
- Quality Control:
- Training the factory’s Quality Control Sensory on the Sensory Specifications document

BRF Representative to ESMA/GSO Food Committee:
- Helping ESMA in developing and updating GCC and UAE standards amongst Dubai Municipality and Abu Dhabi Municipality as well as market leading food
producers such as Coca-Cola, Mars, Nestle, Wrigley etc.
- Developed MDM (Mechanically Deboned Meats), Franks and Pizza standards from scratch, (Which was a great value to BRF Company)
GCC Customer Care Department Development:
- Attended a detailed observational training for the Customer Care Dept. in Brazil to be able to develop the Middle East & Africa Department
- Created a detailed structure for the department including the full flow of the department. (From receiving the complain until having it solved)
- Designing a full flow for handling the complains coming from all created channels (social media, email and hotline)
- Putting the Action-plan and having it ready for implementation within a certain budget and deadline
- Assigned the Call-center provider after full market penetration
Product Complains Investigation:
Sensory is responsible of addressing any complain by the client by visiting to understand the nature of the problem and solving the issue with the R&D.
